Art can be used as an incredible tool for expression and self-exploration. The process of each piece is an opportunity for growth and discovery. In my own work, I explore my emotional landscape through the creation of images. Any feeling or moment can be picked up, held, understood, and finally stretched across the paper. For me, artmaking is more about the process and the understanding found within that process than it is about the final piece.
